American Foam Corporation differs from others in the industry by offering foam products with its exclusive Sim-U-Vel™ covering.  Sim-U-Vel™ is flocked foam with a velvet-like appearance and feel, available in over 20 colors.  Sim-U-Vel™ is the value-added product that distinguishes American Foam Corporation from its competition. While many foam converters can sheet, die cut and produce package inserts, American Foam Corporation is the sole manufacturer of Sim-U-Vel™ and can laminate it to any of its foam products to create an attractive visual display that will enhance, organize, and protect the packaged product(s).

American Foam produces our products from various types of foam including: polyurethanes (ethers, esters, and grafts); polyethylene and crossed links that are in the closed cell family of foams. These foams are available in a variety of colors and hardness. In addition to foam-to-foam lamination, American Foam Corporation also uses its own or customer provided materials to produce the finished insert or part. These may include: chipboards, SBS boards, styrene, corrugated panels, fabrics, rubbers or nearly any type of covering or base materials.

The fabrication capabilities of American Foam Corporation allows us to service a broad spectrum of industries and product requirements.

American Foam Corporation converting processes include: flocking, die cutting, laminating, profiling, or contour compression cutting, slitting/skiving, gluing/bonding, stripping, and plugging of inserts.
